What is Real-Time Upload?

WatchGameFilm has designed a way for teams to stream video directly to their WatchGameFilm team by using any recording application for their device that supports the RTMP protocol. Any WGF team can now use an iPhone, iPad, Android tablet or phone to record their game or practice and stream it real-time to our servers. Once they stop recording, the stream is automatically processed and posted to their team's Film Library as a single clip MP4 video.

How well does it work?

The past year using WatchGameFilm, I would come home after a game, take 5-10 minutes to load each quarter, then another 15-20 minutes to upload the game as a whole. Doing this process twice for JV and Varsity, it can sometimes take over an hour to upload film. With Real-Time Upload, I started the camera for our JV game, and kept it going for our varsity game. After the game was over, my student manager stopped recording, and by the time we changed and got to the bus I got an email that my film was already uploaded. Real-Time Upload saved me hours, and let me break down stats and film much quicker then I usually do.
